| The Chalet's Situation |
Ski in / Ski out, beside piste & toboggan run.
We are delighted to be able to offer Chalet Barragiste for a fifth season, as it has been very popular with previous clients. This most attractive ski chalet is located on the edge of a piste just 350 metres from the bubble lift in Courchevel 1550.
Chalet Barragiste is built on two levels with 5 bedrooms, 6 shower rooms plus a large bathroom (with jet bath), an open plan kitchen/dining room and a spacious separate lounge, with a superb open fireplace, satellite TV (limited channels), a DVD player and WiFi connection. The chalet has a massive terrace which may not be used much in the winter but it's heated boot rack most certainly will.
Normally, the chalet accommodates 10, but for groups who take the whole chalet, there is the possibility of using the pretty mezzanine floor above the kitchen / dining area as a sixth bedroom for an extra 1 or 2 people.
The position of this catered chalet, just a 2 minute walk from the town centre of Courchevel 1550 and just 60 metres from the edge of the piste, makes it an ideal choice for virtually every group, even if there are beginners in the party. Barragiste also has the added attraction of being located right beside a toboggan run. Hire a toboggan and race down the course - it is very exciting! |

| Skiing from the Chalet |
In the morning, good skiers should be able to ski from the door to the bubble lift in Courchevel 1550 which is just 350 metres away (the bubble to goes directly to Courchevel 1850). For anybody not so strong, then a short walk of about 60 metres takes you to the edge of a blue piste, from there it is just a short ski to the bubble lift.
At the end of the day, it is possible to ski back to the door using the blue Proveres piste, and then the last 50 metres off piste. Or you can get back by skiing down the blue Tovets piste, cutting onto a path and then walking the last 30 metres or so. |

For our empty bed supplement deduct £200.00 from the prices shown above, per empty bed.
