| The Chalet's Situation |
The Grand Cerf chalet in Courchevel 1550 was completely renovated seven years ago and turned into five very smart new apartments. Our catered apartment is on the upper ground floor and is perfect for a small group of friends who would prefer be on their own rather than joining other people in one of our bigger chalets. Grand Cerf is just a 5 minuite walk from the centre of Courcheval 1550 and the new 6 person high speed chairlift.
Catered chalet Grand Cerf has generous sized lounge/dining room, see photograph above. There is a wood burning stove in one corner, and French windows onto a huge wooden deck, from where there are marvellous views across the valley.
There are three bedrooms, all are smallish but have their own facilities, two with baths and one with a shower.
Note: room 2 is normally for two people, but we can put one or two sets of substantial bunk beds in that room so the accommodation can be for seven or eight. |

| Skiing from the Chalet |
In the morning you have a 300m walk downhill, on the road, to Courchevel 1550's 6 person high speed chairlift. This chailift gives access to Courcheval 1850 or the lifts that lead to the ridge that separates Courcheval from Meribel and La Tania.
At the end of the day it is possible to ski back to within 50 metres of the door using a reasonable easy part of a red and then cutting onto a cross country track. Alternatively if you ski down into 1550 and do not want to walk the few minutes back to the chalet, there is a bus stop just 50 metres from the door, or you can use our dedicated mini bus service, specific times wil be posted in the chalet. For very experienced skiers, there is a tricky route through bushes and trees back to the chalet. |
