Self catered apartment Hirondelle is situated within a traditional stone built building in the Le Fornet hamlet of Val d'Isere, adjacent to our chalet Marsa.

Being one of only 5 apartments in this detached Savoie style building gives one the feel of being in a chalet in the mountains, unlike most apartments in Val d'Isere which are located in large apartment blocks.

Our Hirondelle apartment is spacious and well equipped, it has two double bedrooms, one bathroom, one shower room and two separate w.cs. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining / lounge, with two, single bed-settees giving a maximum of six people in the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. The apartment also has a television (mainly French channels!) and a telephone. There is ample storage and the entrance hallway has space for skis and boots.

In the morning a 150m walk up the road takes you to the cable car. Keen skiers and snowboarders can be on the first lift with ease, whisked up and ready to ski or board, hopefully, the first powder tracks of the day. From the Le Fornet area it is possible to ski to the Solaise mountain and onwards to La Daille and Tignes.
At the end of the day, if you finish at Le Fornet, after walking up to the cable car you are left with a walk of only 150m to the apartment. If you finish at Solaise or La Daille, the free shuttle bus will drop you 50m from the door.
