In December 2003 La Plagne was linked with Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry to create the enormous ski area, ‘Paradiski’ – over 425km of pistes. The threeareas were linked by the impressive Vanoise Express, 200 person cable car which goes directly from Les Coches (La Plagne) to Plan Peisey (Les Arcs).
The Paradiski (La Plagne & Les Arcs linked), is now one of the premier league European ski areas. It has extensive intermediate slopes and plentiful off-piste terrain. There is fantastic scenery and stunning views. The runs down to numerous traditional-style villages that make up part of the La Plagne and Les Arcs ski areas are through trees, very picturesque and useful in snowy weather.
