Catered Ski Chalets,

Meribel is a ski resort in the Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps. It is a part of Les Trios Vallès interlinked ski system which joins Meribel, Courchevel, La Tania, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Orelle, St Martin de Belleville and Brides les Bains.

The resort lies in the Les Allues Valley and is an ideal base for those who want to explore Les Trios Vallès, which boasts 600km of pistes runs (335 marked piste), 130km of cross-country tracks which guarantees skiers total pleasure and absolute freedom.

Meribel offers a wide range of snow parks to suit skier and snowboarders of all abilities. The lift system in Meribel is modern and is continually being improved, there are currently 15 gondolas and 19 chairlifts.

Beginners can use the dedicated Zen Zone area while they get to grips with the basics of skiing and snowboarding. The runs are set apart from the main flow of skiers which allows first-time skiers to learn at their own pace.

Meribel is known for its preserved surroundings and its Alpine charm, it consists entirely of chalet style wood and stone buildings. Wherever you stay in the centre of Meribel you will never be more than five minutes. It has a strong British influence to it

The nearest airport to Meribel is Chambéry, situated two hours away. Grenoble and Lyon airports are both two and a half house away, while Geneva is three hours from the resort - all of these airports are serviced by a number of the major airlines.

In 2015 Meribel will host the prestigious Alpine Skiing World Cup finals, becoming the first French resort to do so.
