With 180 incredible resorts across fifteen mountain ranges, all with exceptional surroundings, there is an overwhelming choice for winter sports enthusiasts, and both beginners and experts will find somewhere ideally suited to their ability. Other winter sports are also extremely well catered for, with plenty of opportunities for snowboarding, mogul skiing, speed skiing and telemarking, as well as off piste and cross country, to name but a few.
There is also a huge variety to do in terms of après ski activities, with resorts in the region offering many opportunities to unwind after a day on the slopes in their excellent bars and gourmet restaurants. Many resorts also have luxurious shops and top of the range sporting facilities.
